WHO ARE WE?
Christ Temple Apostolic Church of Hopkinsville was established February 18, 2001. The founder the late Elder Grover W. Johnson Sr., was inspired by God to start a church in Hopkinsville, Ky. Renovation began January 2001, Elder Johnson and Elder Washington worked on weekends to convert the store front onto a place of worship. On February 18, 2001, the first sermon at Christ Temple Apostolic Church was preached by Pastor Grover Johnson Sr. In 2001, others were instrumental in helping this ministry—Elder Frederick Washington and Elder Gregory Hamilton. God continued to bless the ministry in 2002, with Elder Theodore Allen, Evangelist Mary Allen, and Elder Victor Greene Sr.
BELIEFS
The mission of Christ Temple Christian Life Center of Hopkinsville, Ky. is to be obedient to God’s mandate by reaching all people groups through proactive outreach, community participation, and effective Christian education. We are further committed in assisting and developing the confessed believers spiritual growth to live a victorious life and proclaim God’s love in word and deed.
We lead people to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
